NEW JOINT! Barack f/ Oprah "We Da Besssss"

Over the weekend I caught the Barack/ Oprah show... They were in Iowa appealing to Democrats, mainly women, that would generally vote for Clinton, but are interested in hearing what Barack has to say... Oprah got 'em in the bldg, and it was Barack's job to convert them... I watched Oprah's speech, extremely unimpressed w her celebrity (She HATES RAP) but it was a great set up and she seemed genuine... Next Barack came on... The Senator had fun with the crowd, joked "You know you got a good program when I'm the third-best speaker on the stage..." and seemed to loosen everyone up... Then went in, promising an entirely new health care system in place by the end of his 1st term, an end to the war in Iraq (which he NEVER supported), a yearly increase in minimum wage to combat the rising living costs in the country, etc... He spoke of how
Bush , Cheney , Rumsfeld politics were finally over and the next leader needed to heal the country from all the damage these guys have inflicted...
All in all, I was very impressed with Barack's speech, his honesty and his star power... We need a SERIOUS change in this country, and Barack is a long shot, but I'm voting for the underdog and encourage you to do the same... Most of my friends and colleagues are too cynical and intelligent to believe in poliTRICKS , and I feel you, I'm right there with you, but we've had 7 years of our own complacency - we know what that gets us... So, if we don't try, we can count on more of the same and I'm not down for that... BARACK IN '08 - HELL YUP
