PEACE TO THE GOD Joe Gibbs... The 'Skins 26th coach has resigned from his head coach/ president position this morning... He's had quite the run... In his first stint as Redskins head coach, from 1981-92, Gibbs helped guide the franchise to THREE Super Bowl championships. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1997. Then, he bounced to the fast life of NASCAR and came back in 2004... Since then, he compiled a 31-36 record, with two playoff appearances. He's assembled a great team and a strong coaching staff... Time to step off but we appreciate u big homie... JOE GIBBS - SALUTE - HELLLL YUP!
