Last night, @kitpeterson, @peteroasis and I rode uptown to the newly rennovated amphitheater in Marcus Garvey park. The intent was to peep Charlie Ahearn's newest documentary on photographer Jamel Shabazz. The result was an incredible insight into a NYC ghetto culture of the 70's and 80's that has greatly influenced fashion, dance, visual art & music ever since... Find this film and watch it.
