So, my most honorable ninjas @ 'plex decided to invite a Shady cat to a soccer game this past Sat (pardon me international community, football is already taken)... Aaaaand just for fun, they also (D, K, T, u know who u is) decide to keep a brotha' up 'till ALLLL hours of the AM prior...
Now it's Sat, late afternoon, we're all Wrex N Efx and boarding a bus for the longest, most claustrophobic, 15 minute ride to the Meadowlands I've been on... "We gon' make it, We gon' make it..." - We do... And big things are MOS DEF POPPIN' (pause for the cause)! There are 66,000 people there to see David Beckham and he is not disappointing... The pretty boy that has been hired to make soccer more popular in the US looks to be getting the job done... He has 2 assists, a couple shouting matches and even is good enough to take a fast ball to the dome (aye yo)... Anyway, The New York Red Bulls weren't havin' it and beat the L.A. Fantasy 5 goals to 4 in 90 minutes...
All in all, those fools made a fan of me... I always thought of soccer as a MEGA boring spectator sport, but don't be surprised if u catch me in a Red Bulls jersey...
